Do you love the oceans? Do you love going to the beach? 

Well, if you do, then you share a passion for the sea with Siracusa. Her work is inspired by that vibe of being at the beach or out on the water.  That feeling of being in the tropics is what she paints. The sun beaming, the smell of the salty breezes, and your toes in the sand all travel onto her canvas.  

Siracusa’s Ocean Alive, water paintings, and her Vitamin Sea Series, sea creatures, have been greatly influenced by her artist partnership with No Shoes Reefs. Kenny Chesney launched No Shoes Reefs in 2020, Siraucsa has been working with the nonprofit since just after it began. All of her projects with them are geared to help raise awareness and funds for reef conservation and rebuilding. Each project has contributed to Siracusa’s evolution of her body of work. 

She lives and works in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her home is her crucible of creativity. Every space speaks of the sea, inside and out. Siracusa’s backyard pool is her onsite underwater photography zone, and play zone, of course. Her studio is adjacent to her bedroom, which gives her a view of her easel every evening and first thing in the morning.  She’s even got an easel in her front yard to display large paintings when the weather is nice. 

Fine art and architecture where her studies at the University of Southwest Louisiana. These studies gave Siracusa a solid foundation for problem solving and building concepts with depth.
