ART WITH PURPOSE

Julie Siracusa, known as The Ocean Artist, has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Her first oil painting class at the age of five sparked a lifelong passion for creativity, leading her to study architecture and fine art with a focus on art history. Yet it was the ocean that ultimately became both her greatest inspiration and her greatest teacher.

In 2020, Julie's partnership with Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Reefs deepened her connection to marine conservation and marked a turning point in her artistic journey. What began as a desire to support coral reef restoration evolved into a profound exploration of the ocean's ecosystems, its inhabitants, and the lessons they offer about resilience, connection, freedom, and trust. She now considers herself a lifelong student of the sea.

Through her signature collections: Ocean Alive, Vitamin SEA, FantaSEA, Fleur de SEA, and Canned SEA. Julie creates art that celebrates both the beauty and fragility of our blue planet. While the ocean provides the imagery, her work ultimately explores something deeper: the emotions, experiences, and connections that unite us all. Each painting invites viewers to slow down, look closer, and rediscover their own relationship with the natural world.

Driven by a belief that art can inspire awareness and action, Julie continues to support coastal and reef conservation efforts through partnerships, advocacy, and the donation of original artwork to fundraising initiatives. Her mission is simple: create beautiful work that sparks conversation, inspires connection, and helps protect the oceans that sustain life on Earth.

For Julie, the ocean is more than a subject. It is a language through which she explores the human experience and shares her enduring sense of wonder for the world beneath the waves.
